IEEE-1588

The IEEE-1588 precision time protocol (PTP) is a standard for a protocol to synchronize independent clocks running on separate nodes for a distributed network system to a high degree of accuracy and precision. As the next generation network migrates to a dynamic IP-based infrastructure, Vectron Precision oscillators will continue to be the heartbeat of the network as the network transports a reference clock across a packet switched network. With the emergence of IEEE-1588 V2 to distribute the element of timing in a packet network we have a full portfolio of oscillators to choose from based on your timing requirements and applications. We continue to work with our customers to offer the best performing precision oscillators to meet the evolving network timing requirements.
